Practise Basket
5m - A chance to loosen up your throwing arm and to attune the eye.
Basket 1 - "The Park"
49m - Par 3 - A straightforward 49m drive. With no real problems to this basket it should get your round off to a flying start with a good score.
Basket 2 - "The Paddock"
72m - Par 4 - This one suits long-throwers but be careful, the fence behind it is OUT OF BOUNDS.
Basket 3 - "The Stone"
37m - Par 3 - A great chance for a '2' or even a 'basket-in-one' on a good day.
But you have to avoid the trees and the ditch; it can so easily go wrong.
Basket 4 - "The Twin Oaks"
52m - Par 3 - You have to guide the frizbee through the Oak Tress on this one and, just to catch you out, there is the small pond to the left.
Basket 5 - "The Mole"
79m - Par 4 - This will really test the accuracy of the long-throwers. 12m from the tee is a large mound which must be avoided.
Another large mound, to the left of the basket, can cause problems when putting.
Basket 6 - "The Mound"
52m - Par 3 - The basket is raised on a 4ft mound.
Overdrive this basket and you could easily end up in the trees behind.
Basket 7 - "The Oak"
40m - Par 3 - Another opportunity for a low score.
A lot of players are caught out by the large oak tree to the left.
We ought to mention that the basket is on a slope.
What could have been a great score could easily turn out to be a bad one.
Basket 8 - "The Gate"
68m - Par 3 - Plenty of room for error here.
An uphill throw, just under 70m, makes this more difficult than it looks.
Basket 9 - "The Picnic"
33m - Par 3 - The big wood to the left takes many players by surpise.
Take a break at the halfway point!
Basket 10 - "The Little Wood"
48m - Par 3 - This one slopes to the left. So, even if you land on the fairway, the frizbee can end up in the wood!
Our advice is to aim to the right to be safe.
Basket 11 - "The Porridge"
32m - Par 3 - Some players throw over the trees but, if you are accurate, you can drive straight for the basket.
Basket 12 - "The Paddle"
35m - Par 3 - Only 35m, but full of danger.
A small pond is immediately in front of the basket which is up on a mound.
There are even trees all around!
Basket 13 - "The Heart Breaker"
79m - Par 4 - One of the most difficult on the course.
A raised tee, but you have to drive between 2 sets of large trees to the basket almost 80m away.
Basket 14 - "The Badger"
21m - Par 2 - The shortest on the course and another low-score opportunity.
It does suit the left-handed thrower, however.
There are bunkers to either side of the basket and an ash tree blocking a straight drive.

Basket 15 - "The Whirlwind"
76m - Par 4 - Apart from the distance there appears to be no apparent danger.
The cross wind nearly always sends the frizbees way over to the right-hand side.
Basket 16 - "Sweet Sixteen"
57m - Par 3 - An open basket, you may think, but it has an out-of-bounds fence at the back and you are playing uphill.
Basket 17 - "The Present"
37m - Par 2 - It should be a gift, almost the last, but judging distance is a lot harder than you think with an uphill drive.
Basket 18 - "The Lady"
70m - Par 4 - A 4ft hole containing the basket, a mound to either side and, to top it all, an uphill drive.
Get the disc somewhere near the hole and you could finsih on a great score.
The 19th - "The Farm Teashop"
Time to add up your scores and have a well-earned break.
